Mohamed A. Eno

is Professor of Education who teaches multidisciplinary courses at the University of Southern Somalia, Baidoa, Southwest State of Somalia. He is a Senior Research Fellow at Hakaba Institute for Research & Training, Baidoa, Southwest State of Somalia, and Himilo University, Mogadishu, Somalia. Prof. Eno holds a PhD in Social Studies Education, MA TESOL, and MBA (International), among others. Dr. Eno is a polyglot and a multi-talented scholar with a wide range of expertise and publications in education, linguistics, social sciences and the humanities. Prof. Eno has won numerous national and international accolades for excellence in teaching, research, and literary production. He is the author of Corpses on the Menu: Blood, Bullets, and Bones; Guilt of Otherness; Vertical Articulation; Wizard of the Two Niles; The Bantu Jareer Somalis: Unearthing Apartheid in the Horn of Africa, and co-editor of Theorizing Somali Society: Hope, Transformations and Development; and most recently, a chapter entitled: Somalia, English in, published in the Encyclopedia of World Englishes, edited by Kingsley Bolton (2024). Prof. Eno has published over 60 articles, reports and book chapters and has several forthcoming collections, authored and coauthored books, and co-edited volumes.
