Prof Hussein Moalim Iman
Professor Hussein is a highly esteemed trainer and consultant, holding a Master of Science in International Agriculture Development from California State University, San Luis Obispo, situated in Central Coast California, USA. With a wealth of experience, he has served as a distinguished member of the National Input and Credit Committee, playing a pivotal role in the USAID Umbrella Grant for the Care International programs in Somalia. Boasting over two decades of expertise, Professor Hussein has collaborated extensively with UN agencies and international organizations in various capacities. Notably, he assumed the role of Director of Planning and Food Security for the Somali Ministry of Agriculture. In 1992, he founded Amana Consulting and Training, a dynamic organization offering a wide array of services, with a special focus on state building and advocacy for civil society. His contributions extend beyond the professional realm to the political sphere as well. Professor Hussein was a former member of Somalia’s interim parliament, elected in Arta, neighboring Djibouti.
