Adan Abdirahman Ahmed

Adan Abdirahman is a distinguished Public Health Specialist, holding a double Master of Public Health from Daffodil University, Bangladesh, and a Master of Disaster Resilience & Humanitarian Action from United Nations University. He currently serves as Director of Policy and Planning for the Southwest State Ministry of Health. Through his educational background and long-serving experience with different entities including government institutions, Adan plays a vital role in setting up and developing the Ministry’s policies and strategies to ensure that the Ministry’s objectives are effectively and efficiently implemented in accordance with the existing policies and strategies. Adan brings more than 10 years of diversity of Humanitarian and Government working experience in Somalia and he is committed to driving health for action
